REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETING COURSE

1) Once you have completed ALL lessons on the computer,your completion will be emailed to the school. you may then call 205-822-9322

 2.) You must schedule a proctored exam! The exam can be taken at a Real Estate Company in you town or a local Library. We will need their email address or fax number to send the test. (Preferably an email address since it's quite a few pages.) If you are in Birmingham, you can just take it at our Hoover Office.

3.) Once you have passed the proctored exam with a 70% or above your completion will be submitted to the real estate commission and the state testing center. within 24 hours you may schedule your state exam at www.goamp.com

4.) TAKE OUR CRAM COURSE! The cram course for the state exam is given each month at our office. Dates are on this website. It is always given on the Thursday and Friday before the third Saturday of each month. 8:30am- 5:00pm. Please call to reserve a seat...It fills up fast!!!

HOW TO GET A REAL ESTATE LICENSE IN ALABAMA

The real estate salesperson course is required by the Alabama Real Estate Commission as a prerequisite to the state licensing exam. Subjects covered include Real Estate Law, Agency Laws, Property Interests and Rights, Deeds, Financing, Mortgages, Listing Agreements, Contract Law, and other topics.

REQUIREMENTS TO GET AN ALABAMA REAL ESTATE LICENSE:

• Be 19 years of age
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• No Felonies involving moral turpitude
• Take and pass prescribed 60 hours pre-license course
• Pass multiple choice state license exam with a minimum score of 70%

1. Enroll in a pre-license course at Avery Yarbrough & Associates (sometimes referred to as ABC Institute)
2. Successfully complete the 60 hour course (either classroom or via home study computer course)
3. Pass the Alabama State License Exam
